Hey guys, i apologize for the lack of updates. Been busy with school and balancing everything out. All is good and i can't believe how fast time flies! I remember when i was just stripping the car down and the season is halfway done already..

So after street wars i brought the car to Jon Graf @ Grafworks. We became real close friends after last season and he's the man to go to when times are in a crunch. Basically we had 2 weeks to finish the car before ECB. The list didn't seem to big but there was so much work to be done. And like always something had to just not work one way or another. I went up to help as much as possible within my school schedule. No matter how tired i was i stayed optimistic and hungry to get it done. Long and behold it definitely payed off!

Eager to get the car actually running. Jon and i got the car running about 2 days before the event. Then finally buttoned the car up to run about 3 hours before the event. Unaware of how the car would be perform i tested it in a random parking lot before load up and she was alive!

I won't lie i was kinda nervous to see how the car would hold up, let alone myself. I haven't driven for about a year maybe? Last event was freedom moves so it's been a long time. Although, it was pretty much like riding a bike. Get use to it and off you go! I did a few laps to figure out the car and all. Kept a good eye on the vitals, and looked for anything that would come loose. Fortunately, nothing really went bad compared to last year. The motor held up good and was loving boost.

I am really impressed with how good the Jim Wolf Technology ecu works. Along, with the synapse wastegate and bov. They both stand by their promise and perform amazingly. I was able to throw more and more boost at the motor with the JWT ecu without a problem. Im astonished at how well synapse wastegate hold boost and comes in super strong. The set ports on the wastegate itself make it super easy to low to high boost settings. By far the best wastegate setup i've ever ran.

Since interning for Bergenholtz Racing and putting time into the build. Surprisingly i feel a lot more comfortable in the car compared to last season. It feels like a whole new animal really and easier to drive the car. Im running ma-motorsports knuckles this time, and a solid motor as well. For only being on 10lbs of boost, the car feels pretty quick. I can't wait to see how 14-16psi feels with better adjustments.

Some reason my car always debuts on the day of ECB. But there really is no better event to drive at then this. Luckily this year went good and i didn't catch fire or anything crazy like that. The car held up great and only had a hiccup or two. i was really bummed i didn't run tandem. Right when i was about to go out for the night session my fuse block kept popping. Which would cut off my gauges, headlights, and even my fans. So i decided to not risk it and call it day. Nothing really goes good when it's rushed, but at least theirs next time. The car will be fixed and ready for the 16th.

I had a great time at ECB! Got to see familiar faces and some new ones. Chat with old friends and catch up with everyone. And most importantly i got to finally drive again! I feels great to have a car i can feel confident with and drive relatively calm in. i will try my best to keep driving and learn new things along the way.

Thank you Matt, Tim, and the clubloose family for holding an awesome event! Drifting would be dead without you guys. I also want to thank the great photographers for producing these amazing shots. I'd like to thank Jon and the Graf family for sticking with me this whole time. My brother and family for all the support. And all my great sponsors for keeping this car top notch and reliable!

Gettin a little progress on the car. I didn't like how flimsy the rad support was. I should of remade it with piping to make it much easier. But for now i just supported it a bit and ill have the original support for the headlights. Finished mocking up the dumb tube, need to get the v band tigged on. Also started on the wiring with the boys. So far its lookin good, should have it running by the weekend hopefully. The stack gauge is soooo much full of WINNING.

I almost cut my index finger off too lol. Got lucky on the band saw.

Long needed update. I have been moving stuff from the old house and the fellas visited my bro on the best coast for a weekend. And holy shit i can't believe it march already. Next month is the start of madness. Luckily, my parts started comin in!

my brother ernie @ tribe agency, has been working with vibrant for a bit now. Fortunately as a client, they were kind enough to help us out and send us some of their phenomenal products.

ordered up a bunch of fab stuff for my midmount and piping etc.

Super stoked on getting the chance to run the synapse products. I've been reading nothing but great things about it over @ motoiq.com

The quality of this bov is quite amazing. It looks and feels top notch, and i can't wait to hear it scream.

Here's the bung for the Bov. It's much smaller compared to the tial and hks bungs i previously ran.

This is the 50mm wastegate ill be running. It's a v-band setup, for easy access and wrenching at the track.

Again, nothing but great quality. Not from my point n click camera though lol

I'll be sending my manifold over to a family friend to tig up the v band setup and extend the tube since it hits my strut tower as of now.

here's an oil feed setup, pretty much the best kit i've seen from any company. It includes everything you need for a top mount setup.

And what would a vibrant order be without some custom piping!

These babies finally came in as well.

Learned a trick from my mentor, so im gona see how these work out.

i dropped the motor in to see how the mid mount piping would mock up. Not to shabby, just need to work around the turbo pipe.

But i took it out to put the trans on and get the mani's welded up.

Since its March, im gonna have to work on the car everyday to get it ready. First events april 2nd so i need to get a move on. Im starting to get antsy to get sideways again. But not so much about these gas prices ='(

late update..did just about all the paint work. I must say, i hate prepping for paint. i wish i had a sand blaster and paint gun to make this go by easier and cleaner. Rattle cans and wire wheels take too long.

Other then that, i put the subframe back in after this and dropped the motor in for mockup and such. But just about everything is ready to go back in. I have to re-order rear pbm bushings cause i f'ed up a money order. Still got a bit to go so i gotta hussle my ass cause the season is around the corner.

Another big reason, i recently got off the phone with Clark from JWT and it seems he will be sponsoring me on his sweet parts for this season :) (Big thanks to Mike Kojima and Kuya for the help) Im super stoked and the guys at JWT are very knowledgeable. And hopefully within the season i can run their head parts and see where else they plan to push for the ka.

And to put the icing on the cake. I will be goin on tour with the full tilt poker team this year for the 2011 Formula D season. I am joining up with team bergenholtz again, as i did some internship for him last year but fell short due to funds. But this year i will attending all 7 events. I'm pretty excited for that as well. Since this year judging will be more about style, more upcoming drivers and teams will be rising. Learning the fundamentals of running a budget based race team, and just being around drifting over all will lengthen my experience this year.

quick update...i recently got a steroid shot in my back due to tearing a muscle and ligament before thanksgiving. And dam did that needle suck! I did as much as i could physically, but thankfully my brother and the sj mulisha/flatout crew have been hacking away at it.

decided to go midmount, to save the intercooler and such. My buddy kenny who does bodywork was able to rework my rad support and fix it from my previous crash. We were thinking of tubing it all and such, but we wanna keep it simple. Hopefully in a couple weeks when my backs better i can start helping out and get this together. Need to make a parts list from vibrant and gather more parts.

Somehow i got motivated to start working on the car. Fortunately, i had a few of my buddies come help me out. Its always easy stripping the car, just takes time. In the end we got a decent amount done within the past 2 days. Majority of the car is stripped, and ready to be prepped. Gonna repaint some stuff, drop the subframes, and get it ready for assembly again. Thanks to ford, leel, and zel, i got pretty far on the car. I just need to keep motivated and it'll be good =)

Finally i got some motivation to start workin on this bitch. I recently fucked my back up around thanksgiving time, i tore a muscle and ligament. FML right? but whatever its getting a little better just sucks ass to try anything. Meaning im missing precious snowboarding and other fun activities.

Anywho, i got some sweet presents from my brother and family this year for the garage. got a sweet heater, welder, and couple other handy stuff. I didn't get too much done to the car just yet. All these meds make me insomniac and i haven't had good sleep for like 5 days. Im actually running off no sleep as of last night. Started taking apart the front and motor end, once its all ready to take out ill have my buddy bring over a engine hoist and i gotta buy a engine stand.

My plan is to go back with the ka-t, pop ups, knuckles, clean up the car, and make it better. Feels great to actually work in your own garage. My parents are thinking of buying the house, which would be awesomeeeee! I start school again next week or so. Most likely ill be working on the car after class. cheers.

This great event that went down. Freedom moves was the best time i've had in a while.

the day consisted of all day drifting and night time madness.

beginning of the day i had some problems but got it sorted out.

after a few laps. i felt alright with the car. so i kept driving until night sessions commenced.

we cooled down between classes. got a lot of good seat time for once. car held up and didn't care about anything but driving.

u can spot the "checkers" magic goin on in the valve cover. thanks steve!

after a few laps. i felt possessed, not caring about anything and just having a blast.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.

i want back out and got like 2 laps but still had a dam good time.

freedom moves was a great time, and i want to drive even more. cant wait till next year.

and like all cl events, the night festivities were awesome haha.

It was that time again to get anna ready for the weekend. I brought the car over to ma-motorsports for a retune. Ray helped me out big time and got my car running awesome.

The night of the race, im packing up and waiting for the crew to come over. Figured i'd give the car a street test real fast. My luck, i get into boost and my hood flys up! I felt like total crap and hoped for the best. Luckily it didn't spider and just left a cross.

With barely any sleep my brother jon and I head out to e-town. Got there with no problems only thinking how the car will do with tech. Once we rolled in we got our spot and started setting up. Tech rolled through, luckily the guys at xdc gave me the ok.

Had the driving's meeting, and listened to what they wanted to see. I didn't get to drive the layout yet. So it was gonna be an interesting one!

The layout was pretty fast and long. It took a toll on the tires, getting only several laps out of a set.

Practice came along and it was time to do work. At first i took it slow and tried to get comfortable with the track. I quickly released that you had to go fast, and i had to keep it in 3rd the whole way. I couldn't let off the gas and really follow the line.

After a few runs, i concentrated on being smoother and pushed myself to do better.

Thanks to Jon, Ray, and the crew the car held up pretty well and she continued to take the beating. I am truely blessed to have these guys with me, without them i wouldn't be behind the wheel.

This is probably the best anna has performed, and i will do my best to make it better. As long as it keep driving and work for it the car will be amazing.

Once it came to qualifying, pressure and realization started to kick in. The field was fairly large and the cars were up to par. My car doesn't make much power but i had to do my best and drive it like i should.

First run goes by, do the entry and halfway through the track, i over rotate coming off the bank. Several people had trouble there and the track was very momentum. I tried to brush off and not thing what happened and lay down something good.

Second run i hucked the car into the entry and drove all hyped. Midway through the first clip i corrected and lead me to losing my line and powerband. I continued the rest of the track and did my run.

Deep down, i knew it wasn't enough to make it. and i just had to learn from the mistakes. From what i heard i missed top 16 by only a couple spots. Although there was several others for missed it as well.

On competition day we sat around since we didn't make top 16. But out of the blue petty came around lettin us know we could practice and run tandem!

I paired up with nate a couple time to see how i followed. Figures we shared a similar style, big angle and lots of smoke! I tried to match his line, car, and get as close as possible. Definately a fun time and i look forward to doing more tandem now. It pushes me to drive harder.

Once tandem was done and the destruction cooled down for a bit. It was time to watch the top 16 battles.

I parked the car over at the ESR booth, and watch the event from the watch towers.

Had a great time driving and hanging out with the team. I look forward to driving even more now that the car is getting better. Now it's time to work for it, and get the car up to par. Until then, see ya at the next track day.

over all we didn't make it to the big show 2011 is our year for sure, after watching the whole crew doing what they do best we know we have potential!! and there is allot of work for us to do to get there but we will be ready when the time comes check out mark and anna at "1:20" with nate hamilton !! killin it during there practice runs !!!

I remember this guy rippin back at redbull wdc. his style was sick and still is. at first i didn't believe it was stock, but in reality it was all him.

he really does defy the odds. some good inspiration.

But my soul is just survivin.

Went to the meadowlands state fair. to do a drift demo for uncle rico.

i usually like demo's and have fun. First run off the trailer i felt chill. but once i felt the car act up, part of me forgot to just have fun.

Ended up macking a k rail. my mind went blank before the hit but luckily i hit it kinda straight instead of double tapping.

Towards the end i tried what i could, but stopped after a bit.

Thank you Rico for the oppurtunity. Big thanks to the ray for being my right hand man the whole weekend. Jonny boy makin it out even through the rough times. Papa Ackerman for gettin us to the event. Thanks to Goober, Drock, and family for comin out. Ray at ma-motorsports for the getin the car done. And of course my brother for giving me the strength to keep pushing on.
